About KidMap

Who makes it

KidMap is a project by Chris, of CLN Systems. You can always write to us at hello@kidmap.ro.

How we choose places

• Places are chosen by a parent from Cluj: some from our own visits, others from the places' official websites.
• Some addresses and areas come from OpenStreetMap. © OpenStreetMap contributors
• We copy nothing from Google Maps: no reviews, no photos, no descriptions.
• “Last checked” is the day we checked the place's website or went there. Opening hours and prices can change, so check before you go.
• If a place doesn't publish its price or ages, we say “Ask them” rather than guess.

For places

Is your place on KidMap and you'd like us to correct something or take the listing down? Write to us at hello@kidmap.ro. Being on KidMap is free.

Privacy

• We don't use cookies, traffic analytics, or scripts and fonts from other sites.
• If you choose the light or dark theme, your choice stays only in your browser (in localStorage). We never see it.
• The site is hosted by Amazon Web Services in Frankfurt, Germany, and delivered through their CloudFront network. As with any website, their servers receive your IP address to send you the page. We don't keep logs of visits.
• Emails you send us, for example through “Report a mistake”, arrive in our Google Workspace account. We use them only to reply and to fix the listing, and keep them only as long as needed.
• To write to a place about its listing, we use the contact details it publishes on its own website.

You can ask at any time to see, correct or delete your data, or object to its use, at hello@kidmap.ro. If you're not satisfied, you can complain to Romania's data protection authority, ANSPDCP.
